The condition of pupils of one of the Taganrog schools of the Rostov region, who were gassed in the locker room after physical education, is satisfactory, they were allowed to go home from the hospital, Galina Gagalaeva, a representative of SUSK Russia in the region, told reporters.

Earlier, a representative of the Taganrog administration told RIA Novosti that on Monday at school number 24, someone allegedly sprayed gas from a pepper spray. Seven children were hospitalized.
According to Gagalaeva, the incident took place in a locker room after a physical education lesson for 8th grade students. The teenagers smelled a pungent odor, their eyes began to water, a burning sensation in the throat and nose, and a severe cough appeared. Seven people were taken to hospital, where they were diagnosed with poisoning with an unknown gas.
"Currently, all of them are in satisfactory condition and have been released home," she said.
Investigators organized an inquiry into the incident. They have already inspected the locker rooms, where they seized air samples for chemical examination. Interviews are conducted among students, their parents, school staff and health workers.
