An 80-year-old resident of Orel wrote an open letter, InfoOrel.ru reports. The letter was published on the portal.
A disabled person of the second group, Lyudmila Ryabova, in her letter talks about her life and is outraged by the situation with payments for the 75th anniversary of the Victory, which the Oryol government appointed to the Children of War. The payment in the amount of 5 thousand rubles will be received only by those categories of citizens who do not have other social benefits. Accordingly, Lyudmila Ryabova and other residents who do not fall into this category will not see the money. An elderly woman is outraged that 40 million rubles have been allocated to encourage employees of the administration, there is money for this. And there is no war on the Children. In her letter, the pensioner hopes that she will have time to receive money during her lifetime.
“It's not about money, but about the meanness that's going on!” - the newspaper quotes Ryabova.
The letter was sent to the mayor of Orel, Vasily Novikov, said Lyudmila Vasilievna. The mayor promised to discuss the situation with the chairman of the regional council Leonid Muzalevsky.
In total, 57 thousand Children of War are alive in the region, and only 3200 people will receive payments. The governor and the deputies have not decided where to get money from for all citizens. Only 16 million rubles have been allocated, InfoOrel.ru specified.
