The department even compiled a rating of maternity hospitals by the number of children born in them. So, most of the babies saw the light in the maternity hospital 1 GKB 67 named after. L. A. Vorokhobova. Most of them are girls - 122 out of 158 children. In second place were Branch 4 of the Family Planning and Reproduction Center and Branch 1 and the GKB im. V. V. Vinogradov.

In each of them, 141 babies were born, and the ratio between boys and girls turned out to be approximately equal, told in the department.

They also recalled that since 2018, all mothers in the capital will receive gift sets - "dowry for newborns". There is everything you need in the first days of a baby's life: a mattress, blanket, diapers, overalls, a bathing towel with a mitten, diapers, romper, bodysuit, hats with and without ties, booties, pacifier, scissors, teether, baby feeding and hygiene supplies, electronic thermometer and more. The set consists of 44 items.

Recall that Sergei Sobyanin decided from January 1, 2018 to issue a dowry for newborns to mothers in the capital upon discharge from the hospital. Of course, the order of the mayor of the capital was executed immediately after the onset of the new year.
