Vladimir, August 21 - AiF-Vladimir. Investigators opened a criminal case under the article on causing death by negligence (part 1 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) in connection with the death of a two-year-old baby Stepan in a decorative home pond in the Yuryev-Polsky district.
As told in the press service of the Investigative Directorate for the Vladimir region, the tragedy happened on the evening of August 19 in a prosperous family. Adults in the garden near a private house were picking potatoes, and the child walked around the plot with a scoop. The baby was within sight of mom, grandparents.
At some point, however, they lost sight of the boy. He went to a small decorative pond, designed for watering plants, and fell into the water. Due to the noise of the working cultivator, the adults did not hear the splash of water, but they missed the child pretty quickly. The kid was found in the pond, he still showed signs of life. The child was taken to the clinic in his own car, but the experts stated the death of the little patient.
Styopa grew up in a complete good family, with young parents he was the only child who was surrounded by attention and love. The boy turned two years old only on August 13. For the family, the death of their son and grandson was an irreparable tragedy.
