YAKUTSK, December 4. / TASS /. The size of children's allowances in Yakutia has been increased by 1.5 times, the corresponding decision was made at the next meeting of the government of the republic on Monday, the press service of the head and government of the region reports.
"In ten days, all social security departments will begin accepting applications for the reassignment of benefits. Taking into account the new requirements, the amount of the benefit will be increased by one and a half times. Those families who make the reassignment from December 15 to March 31 will be recalculated from July 1, 2017," - quoted by the press service of the Minister of Labor and Social Development of Yakutia, Alexander Mikheev.
Mikheev told TASS that the increase in the amount of benefits is associated with the adoption of the regional law "On monthly child benefits." According to the minister, it is envisaged to appoint and pay a monthly child allowance, taking into account the level of income of families with children. According to Mikheev, payments will be from 1,036 to 1,584 rubles per month.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers has set the size of the living wage at the folding prices of the third quarter at 16,599 rubles. Moreover, for residents of the first zone (for the northern and arctic regions) it will be 20,063 rubles, for the second (on the rest of the republic) - 16,435 rubles.
Earlier, at a meeting of the coordinating council for the implementation of the National Strategy for Children on Childhood and Motherhood, President Vladimir Putin proposed introducing from 2018 monthly payments to low-income young families upon the birth of their first child before they reach one and a half years.
