The Belogorsk administration, in turn, announced that the dismantling of the ice town would begin on February 1. This decision was made by the head of the city Stanislav Melyukov.
- Without a doubt, the townspeople liked the town. We followed the reviews from social networks, tried to make the visitors' stay in the square comfortable. Snow slides were poured, ice was cleaned, garbage was removed. There were mandatory safety rules in the town. They were placed on the screen and on the slides, - said Tatyana Basos, director of the maintenance service for DOMS in Belogorsk.
It is planned that January 31st will be the last day of operation of the ice town and heating point located in the administration. Cleaning will be finished in a week. First of all, the floodlights from the decorative ice fence and figures, as well as the power cables of the power supply, are dismantled. Next, they will disassemble, pack and take to the warehouse a composition of glowing deer and Charlie the snowman.
Residents of Belogorsk turned to the administration with a request to extend the life of the ice town.
