Children's health camps near Yekaterinburg are not afraid of the Ural rains and storms - they were built strong. The deputy head of the Yekaterinburg administration Mikhail Matveev assured his parents of this today on the air of the Gorod FM radio station.

According to Matveyev, our camps are able to withstand the vagaries of the Ural weather, children are quite comfortable there in the rain and wind. He said that the health campaign was proceeding normally, in the Yekaterinburg municipal camps there were no such troubles as in Kushva, where 62 children were admitted to the hospital.
The deputy head of the city answered the question whether they are going to poison mosquitoes in children's camps, as they recently did in Yekaterinburg, at the City Pond.
- We are not engaged in this, - said Mikhail Matveev. - For the simple reason that for children in the Sverdlovsk region there are no reservoirs where it would be allowed to swim. Much to our regret. A number of camps have installed outdoor showers - you can use them if it gets hot. We have three camps on the banks of the Tavatui, two on the Volchikhinsky reservoir, but none of the camps has a swimming permit. Therefore, we do not conduct water treatment from mosquitoes.
At the same time, there are no alternatives to lakes - pools - in our camps.
- Municipal camps do not have the ability to offer children swimming pools, - said Matveyev. - It is necessary to invest in it. We used to have a swimming pool in the Kamenny Flower camp, but now it is mothballed. To reopen it, we need 50 million rubles.
On the eve of the start of the health campaign, we went to one of the camps and saw the environment in which the children will have to rest. See the photo report here.
And here is our ironic test for those who know the life of the pioneer camp well.
