Recently, the topic of psychological examination of candidates for foster parents is being heard more and more often and becomes hotter. On October 22, specialists from the Zhuravushka Center for Social and Psychological Surveys took part in an information meeting on the topic: “The procedure for social and psychological examination of the family”, which was supported by the State Budgetary Institution of the Resource Center “Sputnik”.
The event was conducted by Maria Alexandrovna Zimina, a teacher-psychologist of the department for the preparation of foster families. She spoke about the goals and objectives of the voluntary procedure for the socio-psychological examination of the foster family, the importance of researching family resources and the competencies of foster parents, and that the Sputnik City Resource Center invites specialists working in the field of family placement of orphans for cooperation. and children left without parental care.
