GOMEL, Dec 16 - Sputnik. The winner of the regional beauty contest "Mrs. Gomel - 2017" was 29-year-old Anastasia Zyatikova.
The girl graduated from the Faculty of Physics of the F. Skorina Gomel State University in 2010 and works as a teacher in a kindergarten.
Anastasia has a rich experience of participating in sports competitions, she is a master of sports in rowing. Now she teaches young children to swim. I have never participated in beauty contests before.
"Nastya has always been a prominent girl, but because of constant training, she had no time even to run off on a date. She had to go to the Olympics in Beijing, seriously prepared, but it did not work out," Father Alexander Novikov told Sputnik about his beautiful daughter.
Nastya met her future husband in her student years out of love for sports. True, he was engaged in handball. The girl's desire to compete for the title of the most beautiful wife and mother was supported without hesitation.
"Nastya is a fine fellow, the best. She gave birth to a wonderful son. I have a daughter, maybe two. We will definitely have a big family," the husband of the owner of the title "Mrs. Gomel - 2017" is sure.
Anastasia associates the secret of her victory with the absolute honesty and transparency of the competition, where everything is decided by points, not money.
"You can hear anything about beauty contests. But in our case, this is the most fair competition. The organizers treated everyone equally, they are generally very clever," Zyatikov does not hide his admiration.
This year the final of "Mrs. Gomel - 2017" was held in the largest hall of the Gomel region - the Social and Cultural Center. This is the third competition in which the most beautiful wife and mother were chosen. The organizers say that the main goal of the competition is to popularize family values. There is no traditional fashion show in swimsuits in the competition; instead, the participants go on stage with their children.
Last year, Gomel resident Alina Malysh, who has five children, won the competition.
