EKATERINBURG, July 29. / TASS /. In Krasnouralsk, teenagers beat a schoolgirl for allegedly insulting their friend on social networks, and filmed it. TASS was informed about this by the head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region Valery Gorelykh.
"A sixth grade student, Anna, was beaten by two boys and two girls, students of the fourth and seventh grades. [One] girl found out that Anna had allegedly been rude to her on social networks, and invited her friends to punish her for it," Gorelykh said, noting that the beating was filmed by two more girls, one of whom posted the video on the Internet.
According to the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the victim did not receive serious injuries, she did not need hospitalization. All the schoolchildren who participated in the beating were invited together with their parents to the police for a preventive conversation. For adults, administrative protocols were drawn up for improper upbringing, and the children were registered with the commission on juvenile affairs.
"At present, employees of the Krasnouralsk Department of Internal Affairs are planning to send documents to the court on sending four teenagers as punishment to a closed-type special institution," Gorelykh added.
