Now the woman looks much better than when she was married.
Lou Bentley, 36, from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire (UK), has struggled with overweight since her teens. However, the struggle did not end in success, because Lou felt a weakness in front of fast food.
After a woman married a military man at the age of 20, her craving for junk food only intensified, and in a year she gained 6 kg. Lou attributed the weight gain to the stress she experienced from moving to another county. After the birth of her first children, she also did not manage to get rid of extra pounds.
Then the family moved from the UK to Germany, and Lou's weight situation worsened. The woman felt lonely and unhappy, and seized melancholy hamburgers.
Lou notes that after the birth of her third child, she could not look at herself in the mirror.
Lou's marriage cracked - the husband did not pay attention to her, laughed at the excess weight of his wife. This was the starting point for change. The woman decided that it was time to pull herself together: first she began to count calories, and when the family returned to the UK, she organized a small gym in the garage.
The husband did not believe that Lou would be able not to break loose, but the woman was able to prove - both to herself and to him - that she knows how to take care of herself. In parallel with the changes with her own body, Lou led the divorce proceedings.
Recently, a woman safely terminated an old relationship, and celebrated this event with a diet cake.
Now she is 36 years old, and she is sure that everything is ahead of her.
“I feel much better and younger than 20 lei, life is just beginning,” The Mirror quotes Lou.
