A branch of kindergarten 3 opened at 82a Gagarina - in a new, actively developing area of the city, where there is a high need for additional places for preschoolers. The premises are designed for 100 children. Today, at the opening ceremony, Mayor of the city Sergey Voropanov handed over a license for educational activities to the heads of the kindergarten.
This is the first kindergarten in the region, which is located on the first floor of a newly built residential building. Funds for the purchase of premises in municipal ownership - 55 million rubles - were allocated from the city budget.
“There has never been any experience in building kindergartens of this type in our region. Such institutions operate only in large cities. We tried to learn from their experience and we succeeded. It is very comfortable. There are many new buildings, many parents and children live. And they will not have to go anywhere: they left the house and brought their child through the yard to the garden,”said Vologda Mayor Sergei Voropanov.
Thanks to the opening of the branch, many children from the area will go to kindergarten much earlier than planned. 4 groups of 25 pupils in each have already been formed. These are children born in 2015 and 2016.
“We are very pleased that this kindergarten has appeared, and in our neighborhood. My daughter, and she is already 2.5 years old, will be able to work with other children and develop. And I will be able to go to work, this is important for a large family,”said Olga Ershova, a mother with many children.
All conditions for kids are created in the new garden area. It has its own kitchen, bathroom, medical office, gym. Technical innovations are also used: for example, heated floors are installed in the groups, there is a drying cabinet in the dressing room.
“The staff of teachers is also completed. Now the kindergarten is completely ready to receive children. On the ground floor, we have rooms for babies from 1 to 2 years old. The second floor will accommodate children from 2 to 3 years old. The first group, the first 10 children, will come here on Monday, March 19, at 8 am,”said the head of the kindergarten, Tatyana Burakina.
Recall that over the past 3 years, four new kindergartens have already opened in Vologda: on Fryazinovskaya, Preminin, Doroninskaya and Pskovskaya streets. A total of 1,530 places have been created for preschoolers.
This trend will continue. Thanks to the initiative of the President and the support of the Governor, four more preschool institutions will begin to be built in Vologda in 2018. Financial efforts for this will unite the federation, the region and the city.
