A four-year-old boy fell out of a fourth-floor window in a house located on 5 Sovetsky Lane in Irkutsk. The tragedy occurred on August 13 at about 11 am, according to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Irkutsk region. The child's mother was at home at that moment, but was distracted. When the child was left alone, he climbed onto the windowsill, leaned on the mosquito net and fell out of the window. The baby died from his injuries. It is preliminarily known that the family is prosperous. Now all the details of what happened are being clarified.
A similar incident happened the day before at about 7:50 pm, when a two-year-old boy fell out of a fourth-floor window. The child's mother went on a visit, leaving the child with an 11-year-old brother and an acquaintance. When the baby was left alone in the room without adult supervision, he climbed onto the sofa by the window, and then onto the windowsill. The boy fell out of the open window and hit the entrance visor.
It is preliminarily known that he was seriously injured and was admitted to the hospital. It turned out that the child is being brought up in an incomplete family, which was already registered with the PDN authorities. Now, in relation to the mother, an administrative protocol has been drawn up under Part 1 of Article 5.35 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Failure by parents or other legal representatives of minors to maintain and educate minors).
Since the beginning of the year, 23 cases of children falling from windows have occurred in the Irkutsk region.
