"Today, in the Ust-Ishim region, a grand opening of three bridge crossings over the rivers Ukhtyrma, Sarguska and Suya took place. The decision to build was made in connection with the failure of the old wooden crossings, which were in emergency condition. The movement of heavy transit transport from Tyumen to Omsk the region could lead to their collapse and the termination of transport communication, "- said the press service.

The ministry noted that reinforced concrete bridges will last at least 50 years. "The commissioning of these facilities will solve the problem of traffic and provide residents of five settlements with safe communication with the regional and regional centers," the press service of the Minister of Construction of the Omsk Region, Vladimir Streltsov, quotes.

For the construction of bridges from the regional budget within the framework of the program "Development of the transport system of the Omsk region" was allocated 220 million rubles. The length of the crossing over the Ukhtyrma River is 50.9 m, across the Sarguska River - 49.6 m, across the Suya River - 51.4 m with approaches of 3.3 km, 1.1 km and 0.4 km, respectively. Earlier in September of this year, another bridge over the Serebryanka river worth 29.4 million rubles was put into operation in the Ust-Ishimsky district.

A representative of the Ministry of Construction told TASS that in 2016 a bridge was built in the Krutinsky district, but before that, no bridges had been built in the Omsk region for several years.
