OMSK, November 30. / Corr. TASS Alexey Petrov /. Fourteen pupils of gymnasium 159 in the city of Omsk turned to medical institutions with signs of acute intestinal infection. As the representative of the regional Ministry of Health Svetlana Ospennikova told TASS, one student was hospitalized, the rest are on outpatient treatment.

"14 students from gymnasium 159 applied to the Children's City Clinical Hospital 4 with signs of acute intestinal infection. According to the results of the examination, one child was hospitalized, his condition is assessed as satisfactory, the rest of the children are receiving outpatient treatment," said Ospennikova.

According to her, the gymnasium carries out a whole range of anti-epidemic measures aimed at eliminating the outbreak, organized examination and laboratory examination of everyone who had contact with the sick. "140 children and 11 adults have already been examined," said a representative of the Ministry of Health.

On the fact of poisoning, the prosecutor's office and the investigating authorities are checking. "It has been established that 10 students from different classes and different ages have applied to medical institutions the night before. All of them ate in the school cafeteria," Tatyana Bulikhova, a senior assistant to the prosecutor of the Omsk region, told TASS.

The regional Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the investigators examined the premises of the canteen, seized documents for the supply of food and are conducting surveys to establish the cause of the illness of children.
