Strange things often happen in the theater - for example, beautiful plays sit idle there for a long time. And then - again! - and several performances appear at once based on the texts of one author.
This is what happened now with the plays by Mikhail Bartenev, according to which two premieres are coming out this month - “When I was a little boy” at the CIM, and “City of the Clown Peak” at the SNARK theater.
It is directed by director Yuri Alesin - Don Quixote of the modern theater for children, a man with a terrible beard and cheerful eyes, a tireless and not discouraged artist who wants and builds a new theater for children: necessary and honest, because SNARK is a private theater, therefore, in order to survive, it must at least pay off, therefore, it must be in demand, and, therefore, look for more and more new ways to the viewer.
Fortunately, Alesin is not interested in repeating from performance to performance, so in his new show, staged for the fifth anniversary of the theater, he will make a performance out of paper dolls. The story of Mikhail Bartenev about the circus, which came to the city, lived in it, disturbed it - and went on tour, will be told in "SNARK" with the help of scissors and paper, and the characters will be born right in front of the audience.
