The competition was held among the suburban organizations of recreation and health improvement of children near Moscow. The main goal of the competition is to identify the best practices for organizing children's recreation, disseminate them and encourage camps to use best practices in their activities.

The organizing committee of the competition included representatives of regional departments: the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports. Representatives of public and other organizations, whose activities are directly related to the issues of children's recreation and health improvement, were also invited.
“This year, 20 organizations of summer children's recreation have applied for the competition. As a result, 6 prize-winners were identified, who came out to victory thanks to the highest scores in terms of: safety and comfortable living of children, staffing level, implementation of health and educational programs. The winners will be awarded at our annual Forum “Children's Health Camp - a Safe Territory for Development” in February next year,”said Irina Fayevskaya, Minister of Social Development of the Moscow Region.
In the 1st group of recreation organizations (with a capacity of more than 300 children), the first place was taken by the Bugorok Children's Health Center (Domodedovo), the second place was taken by the Children's Health Resort named after Gagarin "(Stupino) and the third place - DOL" Litvinovo "(Naro-Fominsk).
In the 2nd group of recreation organizations (capacity from 100 to 300 children), the winner was the Lesnaya Skazka (Schelkovo) campus, the second place - Voskhod (Sergiev-Posad), the third place - Ostashevo camp (Volokolamsk).
