The incident took place on a beach in the Blue Lakes region. As previously reported in the regional administration, the teachers of the social center took the children to the beach even before the opening of the swimming season, without informing the administration of the institution. There, a nine-year-old boy almost drowned.
"A sixteen-year-old teenager rescued a child on a beach in the Blue Lakes region. A group of guys were swimming when one of them stumbled over something in the water. The guy realized with horror that it was a child. He picked him up and dragged him to the shore," they told the press -service.
The teenager recalls that the victim was unconscious. Already on the shore, adults provided first aid to the nine-year-old child and sent him to the hospital.
"The head of the NAO handed over a laptop and a certificate of honor to the hero, who was not taken aback and came to the rescue. The guy said that he himself almost drowned under similar circumstances when he was seven years old. And he was also saved by an eyewitness. The young rescuer himself graduated this year. school ", - added in the press service.
As Bezdudny noted, the rescued boy has already been discharged from the hospital, everything is in order. The Acting Governor met with the teenager and his father, thanking the latter for the good upbringing of his son.
"We talked a little. Danila told how he saved the boy. It is interesting that the guys have a lot in common - even the names are almost the same. Danila said that he graduated from the ninth grade and was first going to enter a technical school as a cook or mechanic, but after this incident he decided to become a lifeguard We discussed the possibilities of admission with him. If there is such an attitude, then the guy must be helped, "Bezdudny said.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the region and the teenager agreed later to visit the rescued boy in the orphanage together. Meanwhile, the regional authorities are trying to figure out why a nine-year-old child was left unattended on the beach, and a check is underway.
