A new system of preventive medical examinations of children who are one year old has been launched in Perm since April.
As explained in the regional Ministry of Health, now for the examination of "yearlings" in children's clinics have allocated a separate time and place.
“In two hours, children are examined by a neurologist, pediatric surgeon, otorhinolaryngologist, orthopedic traumatologist, pediatrician. Also, general clinical blood and urine tests, electrocardiographic examination are carried out. The registration for preventive examinations is carried out by the specialists of the polyclinics according to the lists of children attached to the polyclinics. And then the parents or legal representatives of the child are notified by phone about the available dates,”the Ministry of Health said.
According to the head of the department Dmitry Matveyev, in the near future such a system is planned to be launched in the largest cities of the region - Berezniki, Solikamsk, Chaikovsky. It is possible that the same approach will be introduced in Perm clinics for medical examination of three-year-old children.
