Dozens of people were swimming in the pool, but the child who went to the bottom was not immediately noticed. 9-year-old Stepan spent about four minutes under water. At this time, two lifeguard instructors were on duty in the pool. One of them went out, the other got distracted. And only after one of the visitors began to scream, the rescuer threw himself into the water and pulled out the child.
In the pool, Stepan was without parents. He did not have a subscription, paid for a one-time visit and swam in the company of friends. Most likely, he swam into the depths, choked and began to sink. Stepan was taken to the Yekaterinburg hospital in the intensive care unit.
He was admitted on mechanical ventilation, in a coma, but this is a drug-induced coma. We specially introduced it to reduce the negative effects on the brain.
