In Russia, a new procedure for registering a capital was determined - a certificate that allows you to receive payment will be provided automatically, writes TASS.
Now the Unified Register of Civil Status Acts will itself send information about the child and his parents to the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR). The FIU will check if there are any restrictions on obtaining a certificate and issue a document. Parents will be able to find out about its issuance in their personal account on the public services portal.
If there are no records of the child's birth in the unified register, and the parents are not registered on the public services portal, an application for a certificate can be submitted in person at the offices of the PFR and the MFC. The new rules are effective from April 15, 2020. The period for issuing a certificate is reduced from 15 to 5 days, the time for consideration of an application is from 1 month to 10 working days.
According to the Ministry of Labor, in 2020, about 1.1 million families in Russia will be able to apply for maternity capital. Starting this year, you can receive the payment already at the birth of your first child (its amount is 466 thousand rubles). The program has been extended until at least the end of 2026.
