In the Penza region, the Children's Helpline has been operating since February 2012. Since that moment, psychologists have received more than 10 thousand calls from children and adolescents, the Ministry of Education of the region reported to IA REGNUM.
It is noted that adolescents aged 11-18 most often apply to the service, while adults aged 35-60 also call, 7% of calls come from parents, 26% - from other citizens.
After contacting the helpline, about 7,000 consultations were held with adolescents. The most frequent reason for calls is relationships with peers - 23%, 11% of those who applied for the problems of self-acceptance, 10% of adolescents worry about problems within the family, 9% discuss relationships with the opposite sex, only 5% of adolescents are concerned about problems with their studies.
IA REGNUM reminds that February 7 marks 10 years since the start of the children's helpline under a single all-Russian number 8 800 2000 122. The project was created by the Fund to Support Children in Difficult Life Situations. Its implementation is carried out jointly with regional emergency psychological services with the full support of the authorities.
