“All cases of the disease were registered by doctors from 2 to 4 June,” said Olga Shutova, press secretary of Rospotrebnadzor in the Perm Territory. - Children were urgently hospitalized in the city infectious diseases hospital of Sevastopol. According to the results of laboratory tests, nine patients were found to have norovirus."

All sick children are engaged in water polo and swimming sections. Before leaving for the camp, they received a certificate of no contact with infectious patients.

Rospotrebnadzor specialists interviewed the parents of the affected children. They reported that they did not pass potentially dangerous food products on the train to the children.

Now specialists of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Crimea are conducting a sanitary and epidemiological investigation to find out the causes of the disease. The doctors managed to stabilize the condition of the poisoned children.

Investigators also got involved in the poisoning story. On the fact of the incident, the Investigation Department for the Balaklava District initiated a pre-investigation check. The initiation of a criminal case is not excluded.
