Nutritionist, immunologist Marina Apletaeva told how to strengthen the child's immune system and protect the child from respiratory diseases.
Marina Apletaeva told about this in an interview with FAN.
“In order for a child to have a good immune response and to be able to resist viruses and bacterial infections, which also occur in autumn and winter, there must be a regime: rest, school and extra classes. Excessive overloading of a child can negatively affect immunity. This is especially true for children of elementary grades. Teenagers are no less susceptible to this, but they are already stronger people,”said the specialist.
She added that it is necessary to ensure that the child gets enough sleep, as well as observe the fullness of his diet - breakfast, lunch and dinner, consisting of foods that are recommended for age. The immunologist advises to consume less fast food and products containing artificial colors.
“Be sure to be outdoors before it gets very cold - not in malls on weekends. You need to try to be with your child in the fresh air: in the forest, in the park, but you can just walk around the house,”Apletaeva called.
The doctor advises parents, if possible, to limit the child's contact with a large number of people, and to wear masks in public places.
“Another point is not to forget about protecting the child from sick children. If we go somewhere - put on a mask. Let me give you an example of shopping centers: there is absolutely nothing for children to do there. The child has a school, there is enough communication. Therefore, I advise you to exclude contacts at least where the child may not be,”concluded Marina Apletaeva.
Earlier, Marina Rosenova, professor of the Department of Scientific Foundations of Extreme Psychology, Faculty of Extreme Psychology, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, in an interview with kp.ru, gave recommendations on supporting students who are afraid to answer at the blackboard.
